It helps you to think about those difficult aspects of our working lives and how we can address them. It is also great fun and not threatening in any way. Also you do not have to have any previous experience in art or be artistic at all!\u201d<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<cite><strong>Oncology SpR<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019ve really really enjoyed it and found it an incredibly helpful tool to decompress during the pandemic and more broadly with medicine in general\u201d<\/em> <strong>ITU consultant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>I wasn&#8217;t sure what to expect, really wasn&#8217;t sure if it would help. Amazed &#8211; I have actually painted at home after a bad day at work (using my son&#8217;s paints!) and it helped. I would definitely recommend art therapy &#8211; especially to doubters like me.<\/em>\u201d <strong>Palliative Care SpR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;A great way to de- stress and relax whilst learning new skills. It\u2019s also been really enjoyable meeting new colleagues&#8221;<\/em> <strong>ITU nurse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThis has helped me relax in a busy working environment which I feel contributed in me being a more patient and empathic doctor.\u201d<\/em><strong> Oncology SpR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cIt was nice to share experiences and made some of the worst aspects of the job seem less isolating.\u201d <\/em><strong>Palliative Care SpR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI have found these sessions incredibly fun, and have actively looked forward to them each week.\u201d<\/em><strong> Oncology SpR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>The weekly themes and group has given me a chance to focus which has been hugely beneficial<\/em>&#8221; <strong>Cancer CNS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>I would highly recommend this to all oncologists.
